FAQ's

THE ROCKETBEATS STYLE AND CLASSES

Is RocketBeats the same as Rocket?

Whilst RocketBeats takes inspiration from Rocket yoga - it is also influenced by other styles of yoga and movement modalities. While RocketBeats is also a strong, dynamic, breath-led practice, it is distinctive from Rocket in that we base our practice around four directions of travel: UP  |  DOWN  |  FORWARDS  |  BACKWARDS. See here for more details about our methodology.

Is RocketBeats good for beginners?

Whilst RocketBeats is a dynamic yoga practice, it is suitable for beginners. We suggest that if you are a beginner to yoga, you find a RB class specifically aimed at Beginners (they might be called Foundation classes) as these will give you a good grounding in what to expect from some of our faster paced mixed level classes. Contact us for recommendations.

Do you have any online classes?

We do! Many of the RB classes held at the London studio 'Mission' are live streamed - we post schedules  for classes with Imi and Alan weekly on our instagram or you can search for RocketBeats on the Mission schedule to find a live streamed class that works for you.

Where can I practice with you?

Imi and Alan’s RocketBeats studio classes are currently on offer at their East London homes: Mission E1 and The Rogue Room - for a full schedule of Imi and Alan’s class times and locations, check out  our instagram where we post our schedules weekly. We also have a bunch of rockstar RocketBeats teachers who are offering classes in locations across London, the UK and Europe. Head on over to our teacher page for a full list of our teachers and where to find more information about them and their classes.

What is RocketBeats B2B?

B2B stands for ‘back to back’, and if the name doesn’t already give it away, these classes have two of our teachers leading the class…back to back - with one teacher leading the class (whilst the other assists and adjusts) before the other takes over. You get 2 for 1.

HOLIDAYS

Am I ready to attend a RocketBeats holiday?

We recommend that anyone joining one of our RocketBeats holidays has a consistent yoga practice and has done at least a few RB classes before signing up, so you know what to expect. If you’d like to get a better feel for a RocketBeats event, why not attend one of our workshops or weekend immersives.

What’s your cancellation policy?

See our T&C's for full details of our booking, cancellation, and refund policies; as well as information about travel insurance, injury and liability, and photography at our events.

What’s included in a RocketBeats holiday?

Our holidays include accommodation, meals, and daily yoga, as well as flight transfers for those booking flights at our recommended times.

We do not provide flights, entertainment, meals or services outside of the retreat, or travel insurance.
