Depending on the event, your booking may be handled by RocketBeats directly or by a third party. In all cases, 100% payment of the event fee will be required at the time of booking.

If the booking for the event is managed through RocketBeats, the booking is non-refundable but the fee can be transferred to another RocketBeats event within 12 months in the event of cancellation. ​

If the booking is managed by a third party, please refer to the third party's cancellation policy.
Teacher Trainings
Bookings for Teacher Trainings may be handled by RocketBeats directly or by a third party.
​
In all cases, when a TT application is accepted, booking instructions will be provided, including a booking link, payment information and details about which payment plans are available. Your place on the training will be secured once payment is received.

If a TT booking is managed by a third party, refer to the third party’s terms and conditions for cancellation and refund policies.

If a TT booking is managed by RocketBeats, at the time of booking, we require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the event fee to secure your place on the training. A second payment of 50% of the event fee will be required 1 month before the event. Alternative payment plans may be agreed on a case by case basis.

TT Cancellation Policy (TT's Managed by RocketBeats)
Is it possible to cancel my TT booking before the course?
We understand that life happens, and sometimes plans need to change. If you need to cancel a teacher training (TT) booking made through RocketBeats, here’s how we can help:
1. If You Can Find a Replacement (60+ Days Before Start Date):
If you're able to find someone to take your spot at least 2 months (60 days) before the training begins:
You can choose a refund of your deposit(minus a £75 administration fee), or
Transfer your payment (minus a £75 administration fee) to another RocketBeats event or teacher training within the next 18 months.
2. If You Need to Cancel Without a Replacement:

More than 4 months before the training:
Your 30% deposit is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
The remaining 70% of your TT fee (minus a £75 admin fee) is refundable or transferrable to another TT within 18 months.

Between 4 and 2 months before the training:
Your 30% deposit remains non-refundable and non-transferrable.
40% of your TT fee (minus a £75 admin fee) is refundable or transferrable.

Less than 2 months before the training:
Unfortunately, no part of your TT fee is refundable or transferrable.

Am I able to receive a refund after the course has begun?
Once the course has begun, you have committed to the course, unfortunately no refunds can be issued.
What if I’m travelling to the TT from outside of London and my travel is cancelled?
We do not refund costs related to cancelled transport, accommodation, or other external expenses. We recommend that you arrange suitable travel insurance for yourself if travelling from outside of London. Please also see our attendance policy which deals with situations where part of the course is missed.

What happens if the course is cancelled by RocketBeats?
In extremely rare cases, a course may be cancelled due to exceptional circumstances or low enrolment.
If this occurs, prior to the course starting, you will be offered a full refund in GBP or the option to transfer to another event. We are not liable for additional expenses (e.g., travel, accommodation, exchange rates) and once again we suggest that you take travel insurance to cover any such costs.
If the course is cancelled partway through :

a) The remainder will be rescheduled; or
-
b) A pro-rata refund will be offered based on sessions already delivered.
What happens if the course location is changed?
Course locations may change at the discretion of RocketBeats at any time. If the course location changes, a venue within close proximity of the original venue will be sourced.

Retreats
In most cases, RocketBeats retreats are booked through RocketBeats. However in some instances a retreat may be booked through a third party.
If a retreat booking is managed by a third party, refer to their terms and conditions for policies on securing your spot, payments, changes, cancellations and refunds.​
If a retreat booking is made through RocketBeats, refer to the policies below.

BOOKING A RETREAT THROUGH ROCKETBEATS...​
At the time of booking, we require a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the event fee to be paid within 7 days of confirmation of a place on the retreat. If we do not receive the deposit within this time period we cannot guarantee a place on the retreat.​
A second payment of 30% of the event fee will be required 4 months before the event. And a final payment of the remaining balance of the fee (40%) will be required 2 months before the event. ​
Alternative payment plans may be agreed on a case by case basis.​​

IF YOU CANCEL YOUR BOOKING ON A RETREAT THROUGH ROCKETBEATS...
We understand that sometimes, things happen and you will need to cancel your booking. Our cancellation policy on retreats is as follows.

If you have to cancel your retreat booking and we're able to find a replacement (or alternatively, if you find a suitable replacement), we'll be able to refund your deposit or transfer it to another retreat within 18 months, minus an administration fee of £75.

If you have to cancel your retreat booking and a replacement cannot be found, then your 30% deposit is unfortunately non-refundable and non-transferrable. The remainder of the retreat fee owed will be treated as follows...

In the event that you cancel more than 4 months before the retreat start date, 70% of the retreat fee minus an administration fee of £75 is refundable or transferrable to another retreat within 18 months.

In the event that you cancel between 4 and 2 months before the retreat start date, 40% of the retreat fee minus an administration fee of £75 is refundable or transferrable to another retreat within 18 months.

In the event that you cancel 2 months or less before the retreat start date, then 0% of the retreat fee is refundable or transferrable to another retreat within 18 months.

If we change or cancel your booking on an event
Once your booking has been confirmed, we will make every effort to provide you with the events, retreats or trainings you have booked with us.
While we reserve the right to make minor adjustments to our offerings, in rare cases, it may be necessary to amend or cancel your booking in whole or in part. If this were to happen, we will notify you of any alteration or cancellation as soon as we reasonably can.
If before the start of your booking we are constrained by circumstances beyond our control to significantly alter any of the main characteristics to your arrangement, we will offer you the choice of either (a) accepting the changed arrangements or (b) cancelling your booking completely in which case we will refund you all monies paid by you.
Extraordinary circumstances beyond our control: If we are required to cancel your booking due to unforeseeable and unavoidable circumstances such as war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity and its consequences, natural and nuclear disaster, epidemics and pandemics, we will communicate transparently about how much we are able to refund of the monies paid by you.
TRAVEL INSURANCE

Our priority is to keep you as safe and happy as possible. Unfortunately, we can’t always control everything and so if you are participating in a RocketBeats retreat we STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU HAVE FULL TRAVEL INSURANCE.
We suggest you:

purchase travel insurance from the moment of your booking so you are protected in the unfortunate case of something arising before you travel to ensure that you are covered for any lost costs and flights;

purchase full cover for flight cancellation, delay and curtailment, medical expenses and personal belongings;
-
ensure your policy covers any sports, including yoga, you participate in during the retreat (please note some insurances do not automatically extend to these).
While we do not require you to have travel insurance to participate in a RocketBeats retreat not having travel insurance cover is at your own risk as RocketBeats will not be liable to cover any costs or losses associated with travel cancellations or delays, sickness and injuries, or loss or damage to personal belongings.
LIABILITY & INJURY

It is your responsibility to communicate any injuries or restrictions we should be aware of before participating in any of our events or holidays. Ahead of our events, we will request this information from you and will ask you to sign a liability waiver stating that you understand that yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis, or treatment; you should consult a physician prior to beginning any activity program, including yoga; you recognize that it is your responsibility to notify the teacher(s) of any serious illness or injury, or pregnancy, before every yoga class; and you will not perform any postures to the extent of strain or pain.
PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY OF OUR EVENTS

We sometimes have a photographer in attendance at our events, whose job it is to capture still images and videos for use in our public communications (including social media, website, email newsletters, etc.).
Ahead of our events, we will inform you if a photographer will be in attendance and will provide you the opportunity to opt out if you do not wish to be included in any photographs or videos of the event.
